Seller's Right of Withdrawal

Seller Right of Withdrawal

Last Updated: [19/07/2026]

This page explains your right as a seller on Pukkade to withdraw from a confirmed sale—meaning to cancel an order after it has been placed by a buyer. It sets out the limited circumstances in which withdrawal is permitted, the correct procedure to follow, and the consequences of exercising this right.

1. What is a Seller’s Right of Withdrawal?
In the context of Pukkade, a “withdrawal” means the cancellation of a binding order by you, the seller, after the buyer has successfully placed and paid for it. It is an exception to your general obligation to fulfil all orders promptly and as described in your listing.

2. When Can a Seller Withdraw from a Sale?
You may only withdraw from a confirmed order in the following specific situations:

  • Stock Unavailability: The item is unexpectedly out of stock or damaged and cannot be sourced in time to meet the shipping deadline, provided you notify Pukkade and the buyer immediately.
  • Pricing or Listing Error: A genuine mistake was made in the listing—such as an obviously incorrect price, quantity, or product description—that makes fulfilment impossible or commercially unreasonable. The error must be demonstrable and not a result of negligence.
  • Buyer Information Issue: The buyer has provided an incomplete, inaccurate, or undeliverable shipping address and has not responded to your reasonable attempts to obtain a corrected address within [48 hours/other timeframe].
  • Suspected Fraud or Abuse: You have reasonable grounds to suspect that the order is fraudulent, unauthorized, or in breach of Pukkade’s policies. In such cases, you must also report your concerns to Pukkade support immediately.
  • Mutual Agreement: The buyer explicitly agrees to cancel the order. Evidence of this agreement (e.g., messages exchanged on Pukkade) must be retained.
  • Exceptional Circumstances Beyond Your Control: Events such as a natural disaster, severe weather preventing shipping, or other force majeure situations that genuinely prevent fulfillment, provided you inform Pukkade without delay.

Any withdrawal for reasons not listed above will be treated as an unauthorized cancellation and may result in penalties as set out in Section 4.

3. How to Properly Withdraw from a Sale
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must:

1.      Cancel the order via your Seller Dashboard, selecting the appropriate cancellation reason that matches your situation.

2.      If no exact reason fits, contact Pukkade support immediately through the Contact Us page, email, or WhatsApp before canceling. Provide a clear explanation and any supporting evidence.

3.      Ensure that the full payment, including any shipping charges paid by the buyer, is refunded through the Pukkade platform without delay. Withdrawal is only complete once the refund has been initiated.

4.      Follow any additional instructions given by Pukkade support regarding the specific case.

You must act as soon as you become aware of the need to cancel. Failure to notify the buyer and Pukkade promptly may forfeit your right to rely on the withdrawal reason.

4. Consequences of Withdrawal

  • Automatic Refund: The order amount will be refunded to the buyer in full. Any transaction or commission fees charged by Pukkade for that sale will be reversed or credited to you only if the withdrawal is deemed valid under this policy. Unauthorized cancellations may still incur fees.
  • Account Metrics: All withdrawals are recorded on your seller account. Repeated or unjustified cancellations will negatively affect your seller performance score, potentially leading to reduced visibility, restrictions on your selling privileges, or permanent suspension.
  • Compensation Claims: If an improper withdrawal causes provable loss to the buyer (e.g., they purchased a replacement elsewhere at a higher price) and Pukkade finds you at fault, you may be required to compensate the buyer or Pukkade for any refunded amounts that Pukkade has already covered under a buyer protection program.
  • Review from Buyers: Buyers may leave feedback regarding canceled orders, which could impact your reputation.

5. What is Not Covered as a Withdrawal?
The right of withdrawal is not a general right to change your mind. You may not cancel an order simply because:

  • You found a higher price for the item elsewhere.
  • You decided to keep the item for yourself.
  • Shipping costs turned out higher than expected.
  • The buyer is asking reasonable questions or has requested minor adjustments to the order.

Cancellations for these reasons are breaches of your seller obligations and will be treated accordingly.

6. Right to Terminate Your Seller Account
This page deals specifically with withdrawal from individual sales. If you wish to stop selling on Pukkade entirely, you may close your seller account in accordance with the termination provisions in the Seller Legal Notice. Any pending orders at the time of account closure must be fulfilled or properly canceled under this policy.

7. Support and Disputes
If you are unsure whether your situation qualifies for a withdrawal, or if a buyer disputes your cancellation, contact Pukkade support 24/7 via our Contact Us page, the email address on our website, or WhatsApp. We are happy to guide you through the process and will work to find a fair resolution for all parties.

This policy is part of your seller agreement with Pukkade. We reserve the right to amend it, with notice of material changes provided via the Seller Dashboard or email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
